Welcome to Uganda! This five-day itinerary will take you to some of the most beautiful places in the country: Murchison Falls National Park, Budongo, Zziwa, and Fort Portal. Murchison Falls National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and giraffes. You will also have the chance to see the majestic Murchison Falls, one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Budongo is a rainforest reserve and home to some of the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa. You will have the chance to observe these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. Zziwa is a sanctuary which was gazetted to breed rhinos after they had become extinct due to continuous poaching, in Uganda this is the only place where the endangered rhinoceros can be found in the wild in a protected area known as the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, and you will have the opportunity to take a guided safari to see them. Finally, you will end your trip in Fort Portal dubbed the Tourism city, a beautiful town surrounded by mountains and tea plantations.

DAY 1; PICK UP FROM HOTEL AND TRANSFER TO MURCHISON

Day 1 of our 5-day safari is an incredible experience! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park, there you will take in the beautiful scenery and spot some amazing wildlife for example elephants, buffalo herds, giraffes, different kinds of antelopes and over 400 bird species. To top off the day, you will visit the top of Murchison Falls, where you will be able to witness the power of the Nile River as it cascades over the falls. It is an unforgettable experience you shouldn’t miss.

DAY 2; EXPERIENCE AT MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

On the second day of our five-day safari, we will embark on an exciting game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. You will traverse the savannah in an open-top safari vehicle, you will be surrounded by the stunning African landscape. You will have the opportunity to witness a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos, in their natural habitat. The guide will provide interesting facts about the animals and the park, making the experience even more enriching. Afterwards, we will take a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, where we will be able to witness the powerful force of the falls as they pounce from the top to the bottom and also observe the various bird species that inhabit the banks of river Nile in that area. It will be a thrilling experience that will stay with us for years to come.

DAY 3; TRANSFER TO BUDONGO FOREST AND ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

On day 3 of the 5-day safari trip, we will be transferred to the Budongo Forest and later Ziwa Sanctuary. Here, we will be able to explore the lush forest and spot a variety of wildlife including chimpanzees.

While in Budongo forest we will participate in Chimpanzee tracking which is an incredibly fascinating activity that allows us to gain insight into the lives of these incredible animals. By tracking chimps in their natural habitat, we can learn more about their behavior, diet, and social dynamics. It also provides us with an opportunity to observe the effects of human activities on the environment, and to better understand the impact that we have on the world around us. Chimp tracking in Budongo is an important part of conservation efforts, and a great way to gain a greater appreciation of the natural world.

At the sanctuary we will be able to get up close and personal with the rhinos at the sanctuary, and learn more about the conservation efforts being made to protect them. It will be an exciting and educational day, and one that we will remember for years to come. We will spend our night in Masindi as we prepare for the journey to Fort Portal.

DAY 4; TRANSFER TO FORT PORTAL

On day 4 of our five-day safari trip, we will be transferring to Fort Portal, where we will embark on an exciting and thrilling hike. On this hike you will witness some of the most beautiful lakes in the land and also enjoy the beautiful views of magnificent Rwenzori mountains. We will also be visiting Mabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves a place with rich history and a breathtaking sight including a waterfall that will be sure to leave you in awe. Later in the day we shall visit the Tooro Kingdom palace in the heart of Fort Portal town. Visiting Tooro Palace is a unique experience that offers a glimpse into a fascinating culture and history. It is a place of immense beauty, with its colorful traditional architecture, lush gardens, and intricate carvings. This will be an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come.

DAY 5; TRANSFER TO KAMPALA

On the fifth and final day of our 5-day safari trip in Uganda, we will be transferring to Kampala, thecapital city of Uganda, and taking in the sights along the way. This will be an exciting and memorableexperience, as we will be able to take in the beauty of the Ugandan landscape and enjoy the culture ofthecountry.Wearesuretohave awonderful timeandcreatememoriesthatwill last alifetime.
