Day 3 of our 4-day Rwanda tour is packed with exciting activities as we explore two of Rwanda's most beautiful natural attractions: Lake Kivu and Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Lake Kivu is a stunning and unique body of water located in Rwanda. With its crystal-clear waters, lush green shores, and picturesque views, Lake Kivu is a must-see destination for all travelers. Not only is it a beautiful natural wonder, but it is also home to a variety of wildlife, including some of the world’s most endangered species. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventure-filled journey, Lake Kivu is the perfect place to explore and experience the beauty of Rwanda.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we'll start our journey to Lake Kivu, where we'll take a relaxing boat ride on the lake and soak in the stunning scenery. We'll also have the chance to visit a local fishing village and learn about the traditional methods used to catch fish.
Following the boat ride, we'll enjoy a scrumptious lunch on the shores of the lake before embarking on our next adventure. We'll drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, where we'll spend the night in a cozy lodge located near the park.
With its lush vegetation, unique wildlife, and stunning landscapes, Nyungwe Forest National Park is a nature lover's paradise. The park is home to over 300 species of birds, 75 species of mammals, and 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and baboons.
