The 9 Days Rwanda Congo and Uganda safari is an ultimate African Safari through Uganda, Rwanda and Congo offering a once in a lifetime experience as you track mountain gorillas in the Virunga National Park shared by the 3 countries.

You will also visit the Savannah game in Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife tour in Uganda and relax on the islands of Lake Bunyonyi before crossing to Rwanda for another gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes national park and later visit mount Nyiragongo. Tour Plan

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife park (5-7hrs)

In the morning, our driver guide from Kofi travel safaris, will pick you up and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Park, enroute stop at the Equator for photographs, with lunch in Mbarara. Take an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at Gorilla Hills Eco Lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise

You will wake up early and go for the Morning game drive looking out for African Lion, herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Antelopes and many more, retire for lunch and later embark on afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, which is famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa. Expect an encounter with huge Nile crocodiles and 611 bird species.

Day 3: Ishasha game drive, transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park (4-6hrs)

Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Park with en-route game drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree climbing lions , have a stop over at Savannah hotel for lunch. In the afternoon,proceed to Bwindi in Ruhija sector of the national park reaching in the early evening and later pay a visit to the adjacent Batwa community villages for a cultural experiece.

Day 4: Bwindi Gorilla trekking, transfer to lake Bunyonyi

Have an early morning breakfast and then transfer to the national park headquarters for briefing before trekking. At 8:30am you will start the hiking in search for the gorillas which will take you roughly 6 hours in the jungle after which you will descend back to the hotel. In the afternoon, transfer to lake Bunyonyi a lava dammed lake of wonders

Day 5: Cross to Rwanda & City tour (7-9hrs)

Have morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Rwanda crossing via Katuna border.On reaching kigali, have a city tour to different tourism sites have lunch and then proceed to Volcanoes national park.

Day 6: Several Tour Options & transfer to lake Kivu

On this day, you have several options all done in the volcanoes national park from which you will choose which one you prefer. These include mountain gorilla trekking/Golden monkey trekking or hike to Diana Fossey site, nestled between the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.

After lunch, transfer to lake Kivu, relax on the shores / beach, or take a boat cruise to coffee Island.

Day 7: Cross to DR Congo

Have a morning breakfast, and transfer to Goma town in the Democratic Republic of Congo which will take you roughly 3 hours drive. Have a city tour in Goma and then proceed to Virunga natioanl park.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in the Virunga national park

After a morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and then start the hiking into the forest looking out for the endangered species. You will also have great chances of encountering other animals such as the colubuses, monkeys, and different bird and plant species in the forest.

Day 9: End of 9 Days Rwanda Congo and Uganda safari

Have morning breakfast and depart to Kigali for a return flight.

I Very went on two trips with Kadafi , because one really wasn't enough. It doesn't matter where Kadafi takes you, he loves to tell you everything about Uganda. His enthusiasm makes you love Uganda just as much as he does. Kadafi can customize every trip and will make sure it will be everything you want it to be. He liked answering all of my interested questions. If you do not take Kofi tours as your Ugandan experience, then you would have missed on the most vital aspects of the true inside local visit. They are experienced, professional, patient, and adventurous. And plus, with all those packages, they are relatively cheaper than others.
