The 7 days Rwanda safari starts today, early in the morning after breakfast you will be picked from the hotel by a representative from Kofi travel safaris to start your journey to Akagera national park. You have a city tour vising some of the historical sites in Kigali city, including the genocide memorial, local markets and then head to the national park.  Check in to the lodge and lunch on arrival at the park then head out for an evening game drive later.

Early morning game drive after breakfast with a chance of spotting lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, masai giraffes, oribi and many more. Return to the lodge in time for lunch and later have an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema which will bring you close to hippos in water, crocodiles, and several bird life including kingfisher, papyrus genolek, the famous African fish eagle, among others. Return to the lodge relaxes, dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a thrilling morning game drive after breakfast before embarking on a journey to our next destination, Nyungwe forest national park. On arrival, we can opt for a tea plantation walk or retire to bed with dinner.

Drive to the park headquarters early in the morning for briefing and grouping, you will be let into the forest by experienced park rangers to track the famous chimpanzees. Upon locating them, you will be given an hour to take pictures of them and watch how they interact with each other and swing from one tree to another. Then trek out of the forest, drive back to the lodge for lunch and rest for the evening.

After a delicious breakfast, we drive to winka visitor center for an adventurous walk above the forest. The canopy lies 5M above the forest, and is also over 200m walk way that gives you a fresh air and magical sightings of the forest, different primate species are also seen during the walk. After the walk, enjoy the beautiful scenic drive through the forest and tea plantations as you head to Lake Kivu with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight.

Head out for a boat ride on Lake Kivu as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries that surround it, later drive to volcanoes national park which is the only place you can trek mountain Gorillas and Golden monkeys in Rwanda.

Start this day with early morning breakfast and packed lunch, head out to the park headquarters for briefing and gorilla group allocation. You will be led by experienced park guides into the forest to track the gorillas. On locating them you will be allowed a duration of an hour to spend time with them later head back to the lodge freshen have a scenic drive to Kigali.
