DAY 1

You will be met by KofiTravelSafaris driver/guide at the Kigali International airport – meets and greeting, comment on the safari then Driving you to Butare (here for your wish you can choose to sleep in Kigali depending on Time arrived at the airport).

DAY 2

Start of safari from Kigali heading to Nyungwe National Park via Butare. Where you will visit the King’s palace and the Rwanda national museum. Heading to Rwanda National Museum. After Butare then proceed to Nyungwe. Overnight at the hotel.

Driving distance: 1h 30.

Activities: Visit Memory and Museum

Overnight: Nyungwe Top View Hotel

DAY 3

Chimps trekking in The Morning. afterwards Spend Leisure or do the canopy walk / Nature walk. Watching Birds and Natural Views Like Trees and Others Then After Overnight at the hotel Chimps trekking in the morning afterwards spend leisure or do the canopy walk / Nature walk. Then After Overnight at the hotel Nyungwe Top View hotel.

DAY 4

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful lake resort on the shores of the Lake Kivu. Lake Kivu is one of the greatest Lakes in Rwanda and is in the Albertine (western) Rift valley, a part of the Great Rift Valleys. The lake is a 2650 Square kilometre freshwater expanse and the largest of all the lakes that fill the valleys of Rwanda. Spend the afternoon by the Lake shores. Overnight at the Hotel.

Main Destination: Kibuye

DAY5: After breakfast, drive to Musanze (ex- Ruhengeri) the base town for mountain gorillas. Visit of Ibyiwacu Cultural Village, Vist Two Laks Ruhondo and Burera then after spend your evening at leisure Musanze City Tours talk to Local People. Overnight at the Hotel.

Main Destination: Musanze

Accommodation: Muhabura Hotel

DAY 6

Pick up at your hotel driver to Kigali, have Kigali city trip including the visit of the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gizozi, contacts with local people for the discovery of artisanal products (Collar, Bracelet, etc…), then transfer towards Kigali airport.

Driving distance: 2 hrs.

Activities: Airport Transfer

Ends of Service.

We have been planning our dream trip to Africa for years now (in September 2025) and contacted quite a few guide companies to get itineraries and costs. We eventually found Marvin at Kofi Travel Safaris Team. This man is just amazing! He has spent a lot of time helping us to create an itinerary for travel to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. We went on a 2-week safari in western Uganda (Lake Bunyoni, gorilla trekking, rafting, Victoria NP, chimp trekking and 8-day hike in the Rwenzori Mountains). It was an extremely varied and wonderful trip. The planning and organization by KTS was great, the team made a lot of effort and responded to all of our requests. The support was excellent.
