Welcome to Day 1 of your exciting 3-day Rwanda safari tour! After arriving at Kigali International Airport, you will meet our knowledgeable driver/guide who will be with you throughout the trip. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park, which will take approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your comfortable lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Iby'iwacu Cultural Village, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local Rwandan traditions and culture. Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari is an incredible wildlife adventure that allows visitors to explore the lush rainforests of Rwanda and observe endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. A gorilla permit goes for $1500 each person. This once-in-a-lifetime experience takes visitors through the stunning Virunga Mountains, where they can hike and witness these gentle giants up close, while learning about their behavior and conservation efforts to protect them. Day 2 of your Rwanda safari tour promises to be an exhilarating and unforgettable experience! After waking up early for breakfast at your lodge, you'll meet our driver/guide and head to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking.

Accompanied by a park ranger, you'll embark on an exciting gorilla trekking adventure, tracking the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Once you've located the gorilla group, you'll have the opportunity to spend an hour with them, taking photos and observing their fascinating behavior up close.

Afterwards, you'll return to your lodge for a delicious lunch and have the option to relax in the afternoon or visit the nearby Twin Lakes. In the evening, you'll enjoy a delightful dinner and stay overnight at your lodge, reminiscing on the amazing experiences of the day.

Embarking on a golden monkey trekking adventure in Rwanda promises a thrilling experience like no other, as you traverse through lush bamboo forests, catching glimpses of these elusive and endangered primates leaping through the trees in their shimmering golden coats.

On the final day of your 3-day Rwanda safari tour, you will have the opportunity to observe the unique and fascinating golden monkeys in their natural habitat. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you will embark on a trek through the beautiful landscape to spot these playful primates.

After lunch at your lodge, you will check out and make your way back to Kigali, with a stopover at the Genocide Memorial Centre to pay tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.  Later in the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.                                                      As your journey comes to an end, you can reflect on the incredible experiences you've had and the memories you've made on this unforgettable adventure in Rwanda.
