Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam & Transfer to Mikumi National Park

Upon your arrival at the airport, our friendly team will be there to greet you and provide seamless transportation to your accommodation. If needed, arrangements can be made for pre-tour lodging at an additional cost.

Meet your knowledgeable Driver Guide at your hotel by 8:00 am, kicking off your adventure with a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. The journey, spanning approximately 5 to 6 hours, offers glimpses of wildlife en route to the park. Arrive at Mikumi National Park around 15:00, with a brief game drive on the way to your hotel. In the evening, unwind and prepare for an immersive experience as you embark on a leisurely walk to a nearby Maasai village for authentic cultural activities.

Day 2: Full-day Safari in Mikumi National Park

Rise and shine early at 6:30 am for a hearty breakfast before venturing into Mikumi National Park for an exhilarating full-day game drive until sunset. Your experienced guide will lead you through the park's diverse landscapes, where you'll have the chance to encounter a plethora of wildlife species.

Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of lions, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and an array of birdlife. With luck on your side, you might even spot elusive predators like leopards. Throughout the day, marvel at the natural beauty of Mikumi and its inhabitants, including zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, and antelopes. After a day filled with adventure, return to your hotel for a cozy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, bid farewell to Mikumi National Park as you embark on your journey back to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a scenic drive through the park, soaking in the last glimpses of its majestic landscapes and wildlife. Arrive back in Dar es Salaam late in the evening, concluding your unforgettable safari experience.
