Day 1: Arrive and transfer to Kampala for an overnight.

At the airport you will be warmly welcomed by a Steinbok tours representative who will then transfer you to Kampala for an overnight.

Day 2: Entebbe- Ziwa Rhino sanctuary- Murchison Falls National Park

Transfer to the biggest National Park within the country whose main attraction are the spectacular Murchison Falls found along the River Nile, along the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary the only place to visit the wild white Rhinos that were reintroduced after their extinction in the 1970s through poaching.

Day 3: Game drive- Boat cruise & Hike to the top of the falls

Before sunrise, you will embark on the morning game drive in the Northern bank where you will see the Rothschild giraffe, Jackson hartebeest, impalas, Uganda Kobs ,lions, water bucks, Oribi and other savannah animals. After lunch you will have a boat cruise along the Nile to the bottom of the falls where you will come close to the Hippos, Nile crocodiles, view the various birds and finally hike to the top of the falls where you will have the amazing view of the world’s longest river as it is forced through a narrow 7 meter gap producing a deafening sound and releases endless sprinkles of water that are visible even from a distance.

Day 4: Murchison – Kibale

After the morning game drive you will embark on your journey to Kibale. Along the way you will view the rift valley escarpment, tea plantations, villages and towns. Kibale forest is home to thirteen primate species including chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys and red colobus monkeys among others. With a record of over 355 bird species and a range of mammals including the forest Elephants, big pigs, bush bucks, Sitatungas, African golden cats among others.

Day 5: Kibale National Park

After your morning meal, you will head to Kanyanchu for briefing and by 08:00am chimpanzee tracking will advance into the tropical rain forest with a tour guide which is expected to last for about 1-2 hours. However it is also possible to do an upgrade from this to a chimpanzee habituation experience of 4-hours tracking.

Later in the day you will have a walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary to learn more about tree species, birds and other primates that reside in the sanctuary. More to this is the community stroll where you can learn how to make local Gin, beer, coffee, basket weaving and food preparation.

Day 6: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning you will go for biking with a stopover at the tea plantation. Here you will learn more about tea with hands on experience. While cycling, you will go to the top of the world platform where you will be able to see several crater Lakes with the perfect view of Fort portal town. After lunch, you will embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park the medley of wonders.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast you will set off for the morning game drive to the Kasenyi area popular for lion prides and other savannah mammals like the Impalas. Later you will proceed to Lake Katwe for the salt mining experience, visit the seasonal Lake Munyanyage famous for the Flamingos that visit during October to April. After lunch you’ll have a 2- hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel an oasis for many fascinating species that inhabit the park. The channel harbors hundreds of hippos and buffalos while elephants prowl on the shoreline with a variety of bird species.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi impenetrable National Park

In the morning after breakfast you will embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. With mist covered hills, the forest is the perfect place to have an encounter with our close cousins. The journey to the magnificent forest is mesmerizing with spectacular views of the landscape including the rolling hills, valleys, forests, plantations and homesteads. Lunch will be enroute.

You will arrive in the evening, check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast you will depart for briefing that is held at the starting point. After which you will be attached to a particular gorilla group and will be led by an experienced gorilla tracker into the thick forest.

Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. You are allowed an hour with the gorillas before finally sloping down back to your lodge.

Day 10: Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

After enjoying a tasty breakfast in a tranquil environment, you will interact with the forest indigenous tribe known as the “Batwa”. These special citizens showcase how they survive in the jungle; you will also enjoy their traditional cultural practices that are unique ranging from the dance, hunting tactics, food, medicine among others.

In the afternoon, you will head to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi for a lake breeze experience as you relax in a gorgeous lodge and bite on delicious, freshly prepared meals.

Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi

Relax off at the deepest lake in Uganda with 29 islands that are full of history. With activities like nature walks, community walks and enjoying a boat cruise. The environment at the lake is conducive for visitors to have a quiet moment especially those interested in meditating and reading. Watching the sunset is amazing on the lake. After the long day you can relax and dine at the lodge.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala

After breakfast you will travel to Kampala passing through traditional homesteads, farms and Tea Estates. You will have a lunch stopover and another one at the Equator in Kayabwe for a once in a life time moment to step into two hemispheres from there you will proceed to Kampala for dinner and an overnight

Day 13: Kampala City Tour

Experience Kampala with a fun ride on the back of a motor cycle commonly known as a Boda-Boda. This tour lasts between 4-6 Hours. It is a rewarding trail as you will visit the Bahai temple, the Kabaka’s palace, the Gadaffi mosque, Taxi Park, museum and the craft village. At the end of the boda-boda tour you will enjoy the country’s signature ‘’ROLEX”.

Day 14: Airport drop off

After early morning breakfast we leave to Entebbe by road for you international flight to the next destination. However, time allowing, you can sum up your safari with a visit to the botanical gardens and a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria.
