We just returned from a awesome self-drive trip in Kenya. We rented a 4x4 vehicle with camping equipment from Kofi Travel. The vehicle was in good condition and the camping gear was sufficient. Dream Trip to Africa
We have been planning our dream trip to Africa for years now (in September 2025) and contacted quite a few guide companies to get itineraries and costs. We eventually found Marvin at Kofi Travel Safaris Team. This man is just amazing! He has spent a lot of time helping us to create an itinerary for travel to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He won our hearts! His has excellent English language skills and is very easy to talk to. We will definitely go with them. We are writing this review long before we are to leave to let anyone interested to go how great he is to work with. Of course, we are very much looking forward to meeting him in person next year! I recently rented a self-drive car in Kenya and had an excellent experience. The vehicle was in great condition, fully equipped with a rooftop tent and camping gear, and handled various terrains effortlessly. 2 weeks top safari in western Uganda (hiking, gorillas, chimps, rafting)
We went on a 2-week safari in western Uganda (Lake Bunyoni, gorilla trekking, rafting, Victoria NP, chimp trekking and 8-day hike in the Rwenzori Mountains). It was an extremely varied and wonderful trip. The planning and organization by KTS was great, the team made a lot of effort and responded to all of our requests. The support was excellent.
